Welcome to Lone Star Cold Storage, a privately owned and operated refrigerated warehouse with 2 north Texas locations: Richardson, Terrell. We operate with a simple yet important mission:

To provide a service level to our customers that is often advertised but seldom delivered. Our facilities provide the room, racks, and refrigeration but it is our people who provide the service that sets Lone Star Cold Storage apart from the rest. At Lone Star Cold Storage each individual is considered an important link in creating a team dedicated to uncompromising quality and customer service.

Our People

Andrew P. Fisk-CEO and President—Andy was initiated into the cold storage business in 2004 with the purchase of Lone Star Cold Storage. He brings years of business and financial experience to the company. Andy got his start in corporate finance for a major retail food and drug corporation and eventually started a pharmacy benefit management company which was eventually sold to a public company. It was then that Andy got into the food business with the purchase of a food processing company. After purchasing and leasing two food processing facilities for the business, he happened across the public refrigerated warehouse business. He would later sell the food processing business to fully commit to the cold storage business. Andy served as International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW) Chapter Chairman in 2013. He started a 3-year term in 2018 as the Southwestern Chapter Representative on the IARW Board of Directors.

Dane E. Bear II—Vice President  and General Manager— A 3rd generation cold storage manager with over 20 years of logistics experience. After graduating from the University of Kansas, Dane began his career as Comptroller and later promoted to Process Improvement and Startup Manager for a national cold storage 3PL company. After five years, Dane accepted a position as Quality Manager at a national logistics company that required less travel so he could acquire his MBA. The account was responsible for cross-border operations, manufacturing, distribution and transportation optimization through load planning and execution.  Dane was then selected to manage a startup company’s logistics operation for pooled plastic pallet distribution.  In 2012, after six years managing this successful startup company, Dane returned to his cold storage roots and joined Lone Star Cold Storage as the General Manager.

Patricia Ann Bronaugh—Administrative Director— Patty came on board in 2016 to help Lone Star Cold Storage improve and strengthen controls for the company’s internal processes. After graduating from college, Patty began work with a national investment firm assisting private investors with their long-term investments and asset protection. In 1994, she had an opportunity to work with the owner of several cold storage warehouses where she would eventually become Vice President of Finance. Patty brings experience to Lone Star Cold Storage in areas such as process management, information systems management and implementation, finance and team development. She was formerly with American Cold Storage.

Dave Park—Operations Manager-Richardson—Dave was formerly with PSAV for 17 years. Six of those years with PSAV he was a Project Manager and Regional Trainer. Project management included pre-production planning, presentation, preparation, implementation and producing meeting, exhibit and general session logistics as well as coordinating, operating and troubleshooting technical needs of company clients. The last 11 years with PSAV, Dave’s role was as a Distribution Center Operations Director. In that role, he managed all aspects of the day to day warehouse operation and P&L directly.  Dave took his Distribution Center to #1 in the country in customer satisfaction scores. Dave accomplished this by optimizing inventory flow; maximizing space utilization, maintaining quality control standards and logistics processes to ensure maximum up-time and throughput for company assets. He drove and managed change as needed. Dave considers himself to be extremely process and success driven. Prior to PSAV, Dave worked as a Corporate Trainer.

Jacki Hand—Customer Service Manager-Richardson—Jacki Hand has been with Lone Star Cold Storage since its inception in 2005. Jacki and her team are the direct contact for your order processing, inventory management and billing needs. She brings years of industry knowledge and experience to warehouse customer service. Prior to Lone Star Cold Storage, Jacki worked in the Pharmacy Benefit Management industry.

Raymond Guerrero—Warehouse Manager-Richardson—Raymond started in the cold storage business unloading shrimp containers for Castle and Cooke Cold Storage. He began learning the business and quickly moved into skilled positions. In 2008, he was promoted into a supervisor position. During this time, Raymond completed 3 years at the World Food Logistics Institute at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia where he learned about a broad range of issues related to refrigerated warehousing. Raymond made the move from what was now, Lineage Logistics to Lone Star Cold Storage in 2016 where he continued his supervisory duties until 2021 when he was promoted to Warehouse Manager. Raymond has worked in all aspects of the refrigerated warehousing business and is excited about the opportunity to use what he has learned to manage the Richardson warehouse at Lone Star Cold Storage. His goals are to provide excellent customer service while maintaining efficient warehouse operations and controlling labor costs.

Robert Wade—Quality Manager-Richardson—Robert has made a career in the field of Quality Control and Inventory Management. He graduated from Texas A&M Commerce with his MBA and started working as Quality Control Manager for two different national retail operations. Joining Lone Star Cold Storage in 2015, Robert is the management contact for all government and third-party audits and works with the management staff to coordinate safety programs, cycle counts, process safety management and risk management programs. Robert believes that the basic principles from quality management are applicable to all departments not just Quality Control or Inventory Management. Robert previously worked for Toys R Us.

Janie Raper—Warehouse Manager-Terrell— has been in the 3PL industry for 35+ years. She strives to maintain the best in customer service, inventory control, order processing, exporting, Lean 5s and safety.  Janie completed “World Food Logistics Organization” (WFLO) at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma in 2002 and served as Southwest Chapter Chairman in 2012 for “International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses” (IARW).  Janie oversees the Terrell, Texas facility and looks forward to today’s challenges directed her way to streamline and be as cost effective and safe for both Lone Star Cold Storage’s team and its customers.
